Sr. Manager, University Recruiting

Global Early Talent Team (University Recruiting) is seeking a Sr. Manager to fill a short-term assignment.   This role will be responsible for leading the recruiting strategy and client partnerships across several brands.  We are seeking a candidate who has leadership experience and ability to scale in a matrixed organization.

  • Define and drive the Talent Acquisition strategy for the business
  • Drive headcount demand planning and optimize Recruiters to perform against that demand while ensuring productivity targets are being met
  • Advise hiring managers on strategic staffing issues including industry talent trends, best tools to use or sources for the right talent pool
  • Build strong trusted advisor relationship with hiring managers to drive recruiting success 
  • Manage and lead a team of 6 direct reports, including commitment setting and performance management
  • Drive operational excellence within the team, championing the use and process practices with all Recruiting related systems and tools such as Workday ATS
  • Ensure that a positive candidate experience is maintained by leading a high quality recruitment, feedback and communication process 
  • Partner effectively with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to foster supportive and effective client relationships

  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable style to successfully navigate competing priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience in working effectively in a global context 



  • BA/BS degree in business, human resources, or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years’ experience of deep understanding of talent acquisition and its relationship to talent management
  • Strong managerial experience; experience leading a global team would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with a highly matrixed/start up culture in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience using Workday ATS systems preferred, MS Suite and Outlook
