  • This role will encompass project management and supporting documentation for a varied remit of operational business activities
  • This role will also encompass process review within the operational department to look at where system and process enhancements can make a difference to the service level provided and the efficiency of the department.
  • Delivering of system enhancements working as the conduit between users, which will not be limited necessarily to UK operation, and IT developers.
  • Oversee and present training programs on process changes to all levels of staff inclusive of training and supporting the EU back office teams within the TGCS operation.


Key Accountabilities

  • Review of operational processes as directed by the Head of Change Management to enhance department service levels and efficiency.
  • Implementation, training and ongoing support of new EU centric processes for POS business unit
  • Support month end system reconciliation for all final invoicing
  • Support managers with system and operational housekeeping
  • Ongoing evolution of in house dashboard reporting suite
  • Training needs analysis and implementation for operational processes and change projects
  • Project management and support for specified change and improvement projects when required within the business inclusive of EU support/roll out
  • Running system generated reports to identify operational performance
  • Identifying new reporting requirements and devising new report specification and, were appropriate, writing reporting suites to support the department
  • Able to contribute to management information reports
  • Able to interrogate the systems to identify  whether it is a process change or system change that is required to enhance efficiencies
  • Provide clear and concise reports on the implications of change
  • Able to identify operational issues and provide feasible and effective solutions in a structured way
  • Step back and look at procedures in a structured way
  • Perform other such reasonable tasks and responsibilities to support the operational department





  • Ability to interrogate systems and processes to improve efficiencies and service levels. Experience in Oracle E-business suite
  • Experience of working within a fast moving operational environment
  • Experienced in training within one to one and group environments at all levels
  • Project management experience within their area of responsibility and the ability to lead a project and manage relevant work stream responsibilities
  • Strong personality to ensure that key dependences within any project are working to requested timeframes
  • Track record of innovating within levels of responsibility to achieve results/solutions
  • Proven track record of delivering tasks to both quality and time targets  
  • Demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving
  • Able to step back and recognise operational and people implications of changes
  • Able to encourage joint working and get people to step back and look to a solution focus
  • High level of personal resilience
  • Evidence of building constructive and influential relationships with all contacts
  • Ability to deliver presentations to end user customers and all levels within the business organisation (inclusive of presenting, training/supporting EU back office teams face to face)
  • Strong analysis skills including a high proficiency within Excel (experience in Cognos/Oracle or working with SQL databases would be preferable)
  • Highly literate and numerate with strong capabilities of minute taking
  • Full and Valid Driving Licence
